Jack Feldstein is an award-winning scriptwriter and neon animation filmmaker and director. His almost thirty neon animation films, including The Ecstasy of Gary Green, The Adventures of James Joyce and A Wondrous Film about Emma Brooks have screened worldwide from New York’s Lincoln Center, NYC to Rotterdam International Film Festival to Sydney International Film Festival. His neon animation films about scriptwriting, The Fantastical World of Scriptwriting and The Psychology of Scriptwriting have also been internationally acclaimed. His neon animations inspired top New York Fashion designer Norma Kamali to create neon fashion and together Feldstein and Kamali created and directed 3D fashion films for NY Fashion Weeks 2011 and 2012.
A graduate of NIDA Playwrights’ Course and the Australian Film school, as a scriptwriter, he has worked at Warner Brothers for the television shows Murphy Brown and Designing Women. In Australia he was involved in network production, developing TV shows for both Channel 10 and 7. Jack was head writer for BDE, where he oversaw the interactive scriptwriting for webisodes of Xena: Warrior Princess, Superman and Spiderman. His playscripts A House Like Any Other and Three Months with Pook have won prizes in Australia and in Britain with the BBC International Radioplay Writing Competition. Jack’s plays have been staged with many productions in Australia and New York.
